The City Slickers bring the sound of the “Wild West” to the prairies of the Vienna Prater - with a rousing program of new country and old classics, bluegrass and country rock, many line dance favorites and a few delicacies from western films.
The US-American singer and banjo virtuoso Steve Criss is a guarantor for authentic sound, but also the alpine republican roots of his fellow musicians come through again and again: County Roads sounds briefly in waltz rhythm, or Beethoven's Fifth on banjo (a short version...).
A few American classics are of course also present at the Winter Market!
