Eichhorn & Bande
Werner Eichhorn, singer-songwriter, plays songs that young and old love, from the 60s to the present, in his program "Austro-Anglo-American Songwriters", in between there are his own from his early days with "Käpt ´n Echo & Crew" as well from the recent past. The guitar is a very important part of this German-English song mixture, it is the basis for his rocky to soulful interpretations.
Werner Eichhorn is musically supported by his band, with Rue Kostron on bass and Alex Schuster on drums, three exceptional talents who were also allowed to play music with other stars of the AustroPop scene (Christine Stürmer, Peter Cornelius, Wolfgang Ambros,...).
With his own compositions, Werner Eichhorn has been an integral part of Austrian radio stations since the mid-1990s, be it with Käpt ´n Echo & crew ("Einen Kuss weg"), EICHHORN ("Paradise") or with the FREEMENSINGERS ("Easy Rider").
