The Perchten Parade
Fantastically convincing masks and devilishly good costumes
The “Ybbstaler Schluchtenteufeln” are a very special group of Perchten who delight audiences with their anual, family-friendly Prater parade - ang give quite a few people a good scare!
This year, many other spooky character from different Perchten clubs will also join us.
We expect over 220 masks!

Important information for the Perchten Parade
- Our Perchten are inside fenced areas – but don’t worry, they are (probably) very friendly.
- Each Percht will stop at each fence. Please let children and people who need assistance take the front spots so they can have a good view.
- Please remember not to touch or attack the Perchten. They often have limited vision and hearing. If you’d like to take a photo, just speak to the Perchten’s accompanying staff.
- Look out for one another, take a moment to check left and right so that everyone feels comfortable!
