Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel illumination

On November 20, the Winter Market opens at Riesenradplatz. As part of the illumination, the Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel shines with a magical glow, creating a special atmosphere to kick off the winter season.
This will be followed by the opening concert featuring “Sam Brisbe & Friends.”

From 20 November to 6 January, Austria’s largest Winter Market – spanning over 15,000 m² – will once again become a meeting place for the whole family. Visitors can look forward to a diverse program with live concerts, Vienna’s most extensive street food selection, popular Prater attractions, and numerous gift stalls. Even in the Winter Market's 17th season, under the motto: “The Prater Rocks!”
From Wednesday to Sunday, 37 bands will deliver musical highlights with gospel, pop, and soul – with free admission and no purchase obligation.
