Philipp Griessler

Philipp Griessler is a singer-songwriter, composer, author, and singer. He began writing German-language songs at the age of 15. With four albums to his credit, he has won the hearts of his fans and earned a spot on the playlists of local radio stations; his latest album, “Von Anfang an,” was released in 2024.

He takes the audience on a musical journey through autobiographical chapters of his life and the poetry of human relationships. Griessler always strikes the right note for the spirit of the times and offers very personal insights into his life. He is more than just a musician: he is a storyteller, an observer of society, and an artist who knows how to transform images into music in the local dialect.

In 2026, he’ll once again be touring all across Austria. The nature-loving artist was born in 1972 on the outskirts of Vienna and grew up surrounded by music in his family. He has lived in the Triesting Valley since 1997. In 2022, the singer-songwriter channeled his love for Lower Austria and his vision of home into the single “Vision,” with which he reached the finals of the songwriting competition “Dein Lied für Niederösterreich” (Your Song for Lower Austria).

Look forward to a special evening full of authentic music, stories, and genuine emotions at the Winter Market on Riesenradplatz!
