Dr. Südbahn & die SymPartie
For 14 years now, the practice of “Doktor SüdBahn und die SymPartie” has been open, and the band can proudly look back on hundreds of successful “sessions” all across Austria.
Even after all these years, it remains what it has been from the very beginning – a firework of music, cabaret, slapstick, and improvisation. No performance is ever the same. The joy of making music and the deep friendship between the six gentlemen from the South are tangible and ever-present.
This multicultural band from Carinthia continues to surprise with Austropop classics in international disguise (such as “Du entschuldige” à la Guns N’ Roses), drives away the winter chill with Rammstein-inspired “Heiße Nächte in Palermo”, and ends the night by pouring (in musical form) a round of “Griechischer Wein” for their enthusiastic audience.
And of course, the doctor’s prescribed dose of “Ostbahn lebt” is never missing from a session.
So audiences can look forward with excitement to this year’s very special “Winter Market Session.”
